Arborcraft Tree Care was founded in 2011 by James Joyce. James earned his qualifications (NPTC and City and Guilds) at one of the worlds leading arboricultural institutions - Merrist Wood College in Surrey, and has over 15 years experience as a climbing arborist and consultant. Working for the national arboricultural and ecological consultants 'Treeworks' , he was fortunate enough to ply his craft whilst working all over the country, gaining invaluable experience not just commercially and domestically, but also through his extensive work on pioneering veteran tree projects for numerous clients including the English Heritage, Bristol Zoo and the National Trust, whilst at the same time honouring long-term climbing contracts at Euro Disney, Paris.

James has also been a key member of the team responsible for looking after the trees by Royal appointment for H.R.H. the Queen on Sandringham Estate, and specializes in section felling and crown reductions/reshaping of large/mature/veteran trees.
